Salaam Resort Simitai Valley China February 12th, 2009—Lighthouse Creative, Inc as planners to sister firm Lighthouse Leisure International have completed the master planning and schematic design phase on a major resort complex planned by client Sama Dubai near the Great Wall of China. More than one hundred and thirty pages of drawings cover individual districts- housing, hotels and entertainment-retail villages set within a spectacular landscape. Florida Turnpike RFP Submittal February 12th, 2009—Lighthouse Creative joins the IMC Florida Turnpike Team, providing planning, imaging and graphic support to the design of eight SunPlazas the length of the roadway. Working with BEA Architects in Miami, Lighthouse has been responsible for the coordination and assembly of the Design Book, a major contribution to the package currently being reviewed by Florida Turnpike Enterprises. Lighthouse is the Development Manager for Parches Cove August 21st, 2008—Located on three thousand acres of almost virgin territory along the Tennessee River- Parches Cove is being developed as an upmarket outdoor destination for the outdoor lifestyle market. Key to this development is a double marina basin containing wet slips and dry stack storage facilities. Over six hundred units are sensitively placed on a forest line that overlooks vast meadows of undulating grass lands. The views within the territory are formidable. The site is entirely ringed by painted stone bluffs and high hills. Lighthouse Creative, as Devlopment Managers to Parches Cove Development, is responsible for master planning, conceptual design, coordination of all consultant services, interface with the TVA and other local authorities.
Lighthouse had developed to pro- forma with contributions from RC Lesser Co of Atlanta and the Echelon Real Estate Group.
In January of 2009 Lighthouse Creative is undertaking the coordination of the (TVA) Tennessee Valley Authority submittal, documentation that will be undertaken on the intended marina basin. Gatorland Waterpark August 11th, 2006—Lighthouse Creative is master planner and designer of the new Florida themed Gatorland Waterpark. In a design-build contract with Sparks the team has developed unique water attractions that reflect aspects of Florida's rich wildlife and themes. The project will open in March 2007. Miles also acts a park design consultant within the company's planning group. Treasure Coast Children's Museum August 11th, 2006—Recently Lighthouse began work with Sparks on the internal design exhibitry of the Treasure Coast Children's Museum at Jensen Beach- Stuart, Florida. The firm is involved with the design of exhibits that include a 61' long 16th century Spanish galleon, an underwater submersible interactive, and an Indian settlement. Lighthouse is also designer of the Phase 1 exhibits and planner of the internal layout of Collier County's prestigious Museum of Transportation at Naples that opened to the public in February, 2006. «
