In 2006 Lighthouse Creative won a major contract to handle the growing tourism demands of the region of western Hubei Province, namely the area around the ancient walled city of Jingzhou. This work subsequently led to the establishment of Lighthouse China, a group headed by American Chinese Aaron Wang. Lighthouse China advises municipalities, individual firms and entrepreneurs as to how to establish new tourist projects throughout the land.
